Privacy Policy for No Spoilers Wanted — GTA VI Blocker
Last updated: 30 August 2026
No Spoilers Wanted — GTA VI Blocker is an independent browser extension published by ShardWare.
No Spoilers Wanted is an unofficial fan-made project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive.
1. Scope of this policy
This policy explains how No Spoilers Wanted processes information when the extension is installed and used. The extension is designed to identify and conceal content that may contain GTA VI spoilers on supported websites.
2. Website content processed by the extension
No Spoilers Wanted operates on YouTube, Reddit, X/Twitter, Facebook, Google, Bing and subdomains covered by its browser permissions.
To identify and conceal likely GTA VI spoilers, the extension locally examines relevant visible text and page elements. Depending on the website, this may include post text, titles, descriptions, comments, search results, links, link destinations and other page elements needed to provide spoiler protection.
The extension may examine link destinations to determine whether content comes from a qualifying official Rockstar source.
This processing takes place locally inside the user’s browser. The extension does not send page content, page URLs, search terms, detected spoiler terms or reveal actions to ShardWare or to an external classification, artificial-intelligence or analytics service.
3. Extension settings
No Spoilers Wanted uses Chrome’s synchronized extension storage to remember whether spoiler protection is enabled, the selected Wanted Level and whether qualifying official Rockstar authors are allowed.
Depending on the user’s Chrome account and sync configuration, Chrome may synchronize these settings between browser installations using Google’s Chrome Sync infrastructure.
ShardWare does not operate a separate server for storing these settings and does not receive them from the extension. Page content, page URLs and browsing history are not placed in extension storage.
4. Local spoiler classification
Spoiler classification is performed locally using code and classification rules included in the installed extension.
No Spoilers Wanted does not send website content to ShardWare, an external AI service or another remote service to determine whether content should be concealed. The extension does not download or execute remote code.
5. Browsing history
No Spoilers Wanted does not use the browser’s browsing-history API and does not create, collect or retain a record of the websites or pages visited by the user.
The extension may inspect the hostname of the currently open page to determine which site-specific spoiler-blocking rules to apply. This information is not retained as browsing history or transmitted to ShardWare.
6. Analytics, telemetry and advertising
No Spoilers Wanted contains no analytics, browsing telemetry, advertising, advertising identifiers, affiliate injection or user-tracking technology. ShardWare does not sell user data.
7. Optional Tally feedback link
The extension includes an optional Send feedback link. Selecting it opens the external Tally form at https://tally.so/r/2EGa5A.
The form opens only after the user selects the feedback control. The extension does not append or send the current page URL, page content, extension settings, detected terms, browsing history or account information to the Tally link.
Once the Tally page is opened, Tally may receive ordinary connection and service information such as the user’s IP address, browser information, cookies or signed-in account context. Information entered into the form is provided voluntarily and is processed by Tally under its own privacy notice.
Users do not have to provide contact information unless they choose to do so. Feedback may be received and reviewed by ShardWare to investigate problems, respond where requested and improve No Spoilers Wanted.
8. Optional PayPal support link
The extension includes an optional Support development via PayPal link. Selecting it opens the PayPal-hosted page at https://www.paypal.com/ncp/payment/AHUACAVNAGKCE.
The PayPal page opens only after the user selects the support control. Providing financial support is entirely voluntary, does not unlock additional features and does not affect how the extension operates.
The extension does not append or send page content, page URLs, extension settings, detected terms, browsing history or affiliate identifiers to the PayPal link.
Once PayPal is opened, PayPal may receive ordinary connection and service information such as the user’s IP address, browser information, cookies or signed-in account context. PayPal processes payment and transaction information under its own privacy notice.
PayPal may provide the payment recipient with transaction details such as the supporter’s name, email address, payment amount and transaction reference. No Spoilers Wanted does not request, access or receive card numbers, PayPal passwords or other payment credentials.
9. Information ShardWare does not collect through the extension
ShardWare does not use No Spoilers Wanted to collect stored copies of website content, browsing or search history, authentication information, payment credentials, health information, location information, personal communications, advertising identifiers, analytics or browsing telemetry.
10. Security
The extension uses a restrictive Content Security Policy and does not permit its extension pages to execute remote scripts or initiate background network connections. External Tally and PayPal pages are opened separately only after a user selects the relevant link.
11. Third-party services
Tally, PayPal, Google Chrome and the websites on which the extension operates are separate services governed by their own terms and privacy notices.
This policy covers No Spoilers Wanted and ShardWare’s handling of information. It does not control the independent data practices of those third-party services.
12. Changes to this policy
ShardWare may update this privacy policy if the extension’s features, permissions or data practices change. The date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
Any new version that introduces analytics, remote processing, additional data collection or materially different permissions will require this policy to be reviewed and updated before release.
13. Contact
Questions, privacy requests and identifiable-feedback deletion requests can be submitted through the project’s feedback form.
Please do not include passwords, payment credentials or unnecessary sensitive personal information in a feedback submission.
